About

Operator

I'm a Tech Lead and senior software engineer who builds and runs production systems end to end: cloud infrastructure, backend services, data pipelines, applied AI, and the web and mobile products on top of them. I work best when I can see the whole system, and I leave it as documented, operable architecture: infrastructure as code, runbooks and diagrams, not tribal knowledge.

I started programming in 2017 after leaving a finance career at Vanguard. A friend launching a startup challenged me to learn to code, and the problem-solving stuck. Eight years later I work across frontend, backend, mobile and infrastructure, with a regulated-industry habit from five years in healthcare.

From 2021 to 2026 I was at Tembo Health, a HIPAA-regulated telemedicine platform for senior care, first as a senior engineer and then as Tech Lead. When the engineering org went from ten engineers to one, I owned the platform: I re-architected 30+ repos into one event-driven platform on AWS, took three production services from 630 critical and high CVEs to zero, shipped the company's first production AI agent, built the data pipeline for a partner serving 100K+ patients, and rescued a stalled patient mobile app. Each of those is written up under Work.

What I'm most interested in now: autonomous AI agents that own their own infrastructure, agent orchestration, and the Kubernetes infrastructure it takes to run them at scale. I run a five-cluster Kubernetes lab with a custom control plane that provisions isolated agent machines. It is the test track for that work.

By the numbers

  • 30+ → 1

repos consolidated into one event-driven platform

  • ~70%

cut in deployment time, hours to under 20 minutes

  • 630 → 0

critical and high CVEs across three HIPAA services, no downtime

  • 10,000+

executions a month across 35+ automation workflows

  • 600–750 hrs/yr

of manual work replaced by that automation platform

  • 100K+

patients served by the partner behind the SFTP data pipeline

  • < 1 month

from taking over a stalled mobile app to launch

  • 1,000+

commits into a five-cluster Kubernetes lab since August 2026

  • 30K+

monthly active users across four SaaS products at Lukka
